If either member's wallet does not have enough for the fee, neither member is charged and the conversation stays closed until both have topped up. Requests that expire, are withdrawn or become invalid are cancelled without any charge.
A worked example
Member A funds their wallet with ₦50,000 and sends reach-outs to five people. While those requests are pending, Member A's balance stays at ₦50,000 and nobody is charged.
Two recipients accept and both engagements activate. Member A pays ₦5,000 for each — ₦10,000 in total — leaving ₦40,000. Each accepting recipient pays ₦5,000.
If nobody accepts, nothing is deducted. Unanswered reach-outs expire after 14 days at no cost.
The fee may change in future (for example to ₦10,000). Any change is shown before you confirm a reach-out or acceptance, and never changes engagements that have already activated or past transactions.
Refunds and withdrawals
Our team reviews refund requests for duplicate charges, confirmed fraud or impersonation, and technical failures that prevented a conversation from opening. Approved refunds are returned to your wallet as a separate, visible transaction.
Discovering that you are not compatible with a genuine member is not, by itself, grounds for a refund.
Withdrawing wallet funds to a bank account is not available in this version. Please deposit only what you expect to use. See our Terms of Service.
