Community guidelines

These guidelines keep MarriageOrNothing respectful, honest and focused on marriage. Breaking them can lead to removal of content, restriction or suspension.

Be honest about your intentions

• Join only if you are 18 or over and genuinely seeking marriage.
• Be truthful about your relationship status. Members who are currently married may not join.
• Your video must show you, speaking for yourself.

Your video introduction

• No more than 20 seconds, with your face clearly visible and your voice audible.
• Cover your first name, what you do, where you are based, your marriage timeline and the partner you are looking for.
• No nudity, sexual content, hate speech, contact details, social-media handles, links or advertising.

Treat others with respect

• No harassment, threats, insults, discrimination or pressure.
• “I'm not interested” is a complete answer. Do not try to contact someone who has declined or blocked you.
• Never ask another member for money, gifts or financial information, and never promote businesses or schemes.

Enforcement and appeals

Our moderators review reports and may remove content, restrict or suspend accounts. You can appeal a decision from your account settings, and a different moderator will review it where possible.
