Hearing someone introduce themselves — their name, what they do, where they live, when they hope to marry and who they are looking for — tells you far more than a paragraph. It also discourages copy-and-paste profiles. There are no written biographies on MarriageOrNothing.

No. “Video Profile Reviewed” means our team checked the video meets our standards. It does not prove identity, occupation, marital status or sincerity. “Identity Verified” is a separate badge given only after an identity document has been checked. Always use good judgement and follow our safety guidelines.

Only when a reach-out is accepted and the engagement is successfully activated. At that moment ₦5,000 is deducted from each member's wallet in a single transaction. Sending, receiving, browsing, declining and unanswered requests are free.

Nobody is charged. The accepted request waits until both wallets have enough, and the member who needs to top up is told. Once both have funds, the activation is checked again (including blocks and eligibility) before anyone is charged.

Unanswered reach-outs expire after 14 days with no charge to anyone.

Refunds are reviewed by our team for duplicate charges, confirmed fraud or impersonation, and technical failures that prevented a conversation. Discovering that you are not compatible with a genuine member is not, on its own, grounds for a refund. Wallet withdrawals are not available in this version; see the Terms for details.

Other members see your video, first name, age, city/state, occupation, marriage timeline, verification badges and a few structured compatibility attributes. Your email, phone number, exact date of birth, identity documents and wallet are never shown to other members.

Videos are stored privately and played through short-lived links, and we do not offer a download button. However, no website can technically prevent someone from screen-recording or photographing their screen. Only share what you are comfortable with.

Adults aged 18 or over who are single, divorced or widowed and genuinely looking for marriage. You'll verify your email and phone number, record your video, and answer structured questions about your intentions.
